Am a huge fan of C & Hobbes, and the strip u have is one of my favorites. Bill Watterson is amazingly creative, a true genius! Reading C & Hobbes is sheer joy - can't help being in awe..
Also, u write well. It would be interesting to go thru' u'r blog postings in the future..
I have the entire C&H collection. I still crave for more - can't ever have enough of it. It teaches me the most important lessons in the best possible way..
Glad to have u'r reply, 'cause I was under the impression that u'ed just overlooked it.
Aha - u have the entire collection! Seriously hoping its here, 'cause that way I can borrow some! I do have my doubts, since u must have read all of them back in India. I agree - Bill Watterson conveys a lot through his comic strips. It is sad that he stopped after 1995, but sustaining such a richly creative strip for 10 years is too great an achievement!
Well, I did visit u'r blogpage a few times, and it wasn't updated since the 3rd week of Aug, and I went - maybe u weren't able to put in as much time writing as u wanted to, esp. this being the busiest sem of all. Thought that too soon, since u just came up with u'r latest post - Between here and there :D Nicely written! Needless to say, its great to know that u are enjoying u'r new life out here :)
I do like writing a lot, and collect quotable quotes, some neat English phrases, and the like! Come to think of it, one hardly gets time to pen down one's thoughts, be it any topic. Besides, hand-written letters have so become a thing of the past. And so reading u'r blog is indeed exciting, 'cause somehow I feel that u are very fond of writing.
Guess what - the thought that I should start a blog on say, something i am passionate abt, certainly crossed my mind...
Anyways, as I mentioned, i am going to enjoy going thru u'r blogs..
Thanks again! I dont stop checking my blog comments :D although I haven't had enough time to post frequent entries lately. But I'll try to keep them flowing as often as I can. I have the entire C&H collection here with me. Are you also in Orlando? If you are, you could borrow them anytime! I definitely think you should start writing. In fact, I'm more fond of reading blogs than writing myself :) So let me know when you get started!
The entire C & Hobbes collection here! Terrific!! I shall certainly like to borrow sometime, the ones I haven't read. And yeah, u guessed it :D Am right here in Orlando. Funnily enough, we've kinda met, so to say. btw, here's my email id - abhimisc@yahoo.com
My own blog - hmm... the thought definitely crossed my mind, but 'actually' writing one is an entirely different thing ;)
Should I really write? Would it be liked by most? Will it eat up a lot of my time? Do I have enough to keep it going? Such Q's seem to pop up! 'Cause its no way a one-time thing, u've got to find something interesting to write, not only for u'rself, but for the readers too :D
Of course, relating to like-minded people, sharing some cool stuff and going thru' everyone's comments is what makes it so worthwhile, I guess..
All said and done, with my never-ending 'like-to-do' list, writing a blog is going to be somewhat of a wait. In the meantime, you'll have to do reading (my) replies to your posts :)
