Been listening to this song for a long time now. It is beautiful in its own way and I am not going to make any comparisons. There's something so refreshing about it, its rendition so soulful and sparkling that makes me want to listen to it over and over again.

Really nice song. Nice music and nice lyrics. Especially the fact that it is unplugged makes it all the more nice to hear. Thanks for the song, Madhura!
phew!
Superb song...very soothing...I got it from Abhik..
Aah..what lines
Mahfil mein baar baar unhe dekha kiye..
Ankho ke zazeere ko mere naam kar diya!
Aur turant se dhyaan aaya ..Ghalib ka ye sher
Unke dekhe se jo aa jaati hai munh per raunak
Woh samjhte hain ki beemar ka haal achcha hai!
Shukriya for sharing such a lovely song.
@Abhik: I totally agree! The strumming of the guitar just makes it so perfect. It takes some time to sink in, but after you've heard the song a couple of times, it just refuses to go out of your system.
@Saurabh: Hey, those are my favorite lines from the song too!!
And thanks for dropping by and sharing the Ghalib sher :)
I cant understand Hindi lyrics *gasp*
But would love to listen to it. Which movie/album is it from?
@Zywie: Its from the movie 'Main Meri Patni Aur Woh'. Just click on the link from my blog post and listen to the song, although I bet you would have liked it a million times more if you understood what it meant.
unfortunately, with no sound card at my office pc, i just could imagine the music of the sound.
I could imagine the strumming of the guitar. some similar songs where you get good strumming of guitars are "maaeri" and "dhoom" by euphoria. Even Strings was good in Duur...
u in mumbai by any chance?
and thanks for being the first to comment on my blog..
@Tetra: Hey, no problem. You were the only one to comment on my favorite Calvin strip :D
I'm in Calcutta now!
And I SO wish you could listen to that song, it ain't anything like 'maeri' or 'dhoom'. Its a ghazal and I think it relies solely on the vocals to make a lasting impression!
